In today's world, it is difficult to get momentum going for a really important project like this that can change so many people's lives. When I was at the University hospital one day, I saw the x-ray of a woman's chest who had been hurt on a moped and had a pleural effusion. The next day when I came in to the hospital, I learned that she had died during the night. She obviously had a pneumo-thorax develop, and there was no follow-up x-ray or chest-tube available to save her life. This would never happen in the U.S. It shouldn't happen here.

Small donations can make a BIG difference. Please talk to your friends and family. Don't forget to take action. Don't delay until later. The time to act is now. The need is great. The lives are being lost. These people need our help!

Dr Anderas heard that this woman walks two miles to get water every day, and then two miles back carrying the water for her family to eat and drink. He asked why they didn't just dig a well? They said the well cost $50 (U.S.). Dr Anderas and his wife then offered to buy them a well,... and you see the results above. This changed their lives dramatically forever!
